The uptrend of Hertha BSC continues: Fortuna Dusseldorf won the capital club 3: 1 (2: 1) and celebrated the third consecutive victory. The guests have been waiting for a success for seven games. The lead through Rouwen Hennings' penalty (32nd minute) was shot by Vedad Ibisevic (37), Javairo Dilrosun (44) and Vladimir Darida (62) in the home side.

Captain Ibisevic returned to the starting eleven for the Berliners: Ante Covic brought the Bosnian instead of Davie Selke into the attack center after scoring two goals last week in a 4-0 win over 1. FC Köln. Immediately in the fifth minute Ibisevic had his first scene: A deflected attempt from a good ten meters away narrowly crossed the Dusseldorf goal.

Also the rest of the initial phase belonged to Hertha, which became dangerous again and again over the wings and after standard situations. The Fortuna rarely came to offensive actions: A first pass to the top clarified goalkeeper Rune Jarstein in time for Rouwen Hennings (22).

Renewed discussions about the video evidence

The second attack in Dusseldorf caused the first danger - and for discussions: Hertha's Maximilian Mittelstädt had brought Lewis Baker out of balance, referee Martin Petersen decided on corner. The Englishman in the service of Fortuna protested, Petersen looked at the scene again - and corrected on a kick for the Hertha (26).

The team of Friedhelm Funkel did not have much time to quarrel with the referee and his video assistant: After a foul by Dedrick Boyata to Oliver Fink, the guests were awarded another penalty, which Hennings flattened (32.). On the balance of power on the court changed the surprising leadership in Düsseldorf but nothing: Ibisevic (37) and Dilrosun by direct victory (44)

Even after the break, the Fortuna did not succeed in creating danger from the game. Instead, Darida increased by substitute substitute Dodi Lukebakio on the 3-1 final score (62). With ten points from seven games, the Hertha is in tenth place in the standings, Düsseldorf finished fourth with four points.
