Local teams are preparing for the upcoming men's and youth football season with friendly matches.
At Khalid Bin Al Waleed Stadium in Homs, Al Karamah defeated Al Ittihad with a single goal scored by Mohammed Zioni in the 52nd minute.
Al Wahda scored his first goal in the 78th minute, then Al Karama leveled the score at 81 minutes through Obeida Abu Samra.
In Hama, the young Vanguard played two friendly matches on the industrial pitch. The first match resulted in a 2-1 win over the men of Qamhana, while the second draw with the youth of Al Ittihad negatively.
Al-Raha men also beat Salkhad 6-1 in their match on the industrial pitch in Al-Mazraa Sports City in Suwayda.
In a statement to SANA Sports Representative, Al-Raha Club Chairman Nizar Abu Ras pointed out that the game is the last preparatory game before the league.
Al-Raha team will compete in the league which starts on the 11th of this month in the second group which includes Shahba, Al-Raha, Arman and Al-Sweida workers.
Shabab Hateen defeated Shabab Al-Wahda 2-0 in a friendly match on the industrial pitch of Al-Assad Sports City in Lattakia.
Hettin Muthana Arqawi scored from the penalty spot and Ali Zaini in the 55th and 81th minute and Al Wahda reduced the score in the 90th minute from Muhannad Marandi's penalty.
Hittin coach Firas Husaino told SANA's sports correspondent, “The graphical line of his team's performance is growing during his friendly matches during the period.
"The friendly matches have enabled the team's training staff to stand up to the level of players," he said.
Al-Wehda coach Bashar Sharif revealed that his team has finished the preparation stage which he conducted in preparation for the competition and included nine friendly matches during which all 35 players were tried to create harmony and understanding among them.
