Manchester City has surprisingly lost the home game against Wolverhampton Wanderers. The defender's defender is on edge of league leaders FC Liverpool.

Two defeats after eight games: Manchester City lost 2-0 to Wolverhampton Wanderers, while Adama Traoré won the Manchester game with two late goals (81st, 90th + 4 minutes). Out of the game City was superior to the guests, but there were no clear chances to score. In the 80th minute Traoré then met with the help of Raúl Jiménez in the lead and decided the game with a counter-goal in injury time.

The defending champion coached by Pep Guardiola is already eight points behind Liverpool, who had won 2-1 (1-0) against Leicester City 2-1 (1-0) the day before thanks to James Miller's penalties.

Southampton FC - Chelsea 1: 4 (1: 3)

FC Chelsea are getting in better shape: The team coached by Frank Lampard won 4-1 (3-1) at Southampton FC, which is cared for by former Leipzig Ralph Hasenhüttl. The Londoners are now fifth in the table with just two points less than City.
