Because football fans whistled while playing the Chinese national anthem and turned their back on the field, Hong Kong has to pay a fine.

Fifa has fined the Hong Kong Football Association because fans have not respected the Chinese national anthem. This was announced by the World Football Association.

Hong Kong must pay 15,000 Swiss francs (13,736 euros), because fans before the Hong Kong international against Iran (0: 2) on September 10 whistled at the sound of the Chinese national anthem, the backlash of the field and demonstrated with posters. Hong Kong is under China's sovereignty, but has its own national team.

In Hong Kong there have been protests against the Communist People's Republic for weeks. Hong Kong's seven million people fear for their rights, such as freedom of expression and assembly.
