Defending champions Portugal and Ukraine are close to reaching the European Championship finals next year after winning easily in Group B of qualifying.
Portugal beat Luxembourg 3-0 at home by Bernardo Silva, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gonzalo Guedes in the 16th, 65th and 89th minutes, respectively.
In the second match, Ukraine beat Lithuania 2-0 thanks to Ruslan Malinowski's double to keep the group lead with 16 points from six games, followed by Portugal with 11 points from five games.
Third-placed Serbia have seven points from five matches, followed by Luxembourg with four points from six games, and Lithuania bottom of the group with one point from six games.
