Syria Olympic team beats Bahraini friendly

Syria's Olympic team defeated Bahrain 3-0 in the second friendly match in the Bahraini capital, Manama, at the end of their camp in the framework of the teams' preparations for the finals of the Asian Under-23, which will be held early next year in Thailand.

Abdul Rahman Barakat scored two goals, including a penalty from Marwan Zidane in the 8th, 39th and 86th minutes.

The first goal came from a powerful shot from the edge of the penalty area and the second after a penalty obtained by our team after blocking Aldali inside the forbidden area was carried out by the blessings, giving our team progress in the first half dominated the entire team and there was only one opportunity for Bahrain from a direct free kick.

In the second half, our team continued its advantage and control and four minutes from the end Zidane added the third goal for our team after a series of beautiful passes to end the game deserved and frank victory for our Olympic team.

Our team drew 2-2 with Bahrain in the first friendly on Thursday.

It is noteworthy that the draw for the Asian finals put our team in Group B along with Japan, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
