Syria's men's soccer team beat Guam 4-0 in their combined qualifiers at the Maktoum Stadium in the United Arab Emirates on Friday.

With this victory, our team led the first group with nine points, ahead of China with two points after the last draw with the Philippines team negatively in their game earlier today, the Philippines came third with four points and Maldives fourth with three points while Guam came in fifth and last place without points.

Our team entered the game under great attacking pressure and opened the scoring early from the head of Omar Al Soma in the third minute and continued his preference and had many chances of scoring that threatened the goal of Guam without being translated into goals until the 44th minute. Guam's defense ended the first half with a 2-0 lead.

Preference was clear for our team in the second half, where a kind of attacks and returned to the threat of his opponent's goal with many dangerous balls, most notably pro-Ajjan ball, which went past the goal in the 60th minute. In stoppage time the game ends with our team winning four goals without a reply.

Our squad included Ibrahim Alama, Moayad Ajan, Abdullah Al Shami, Amr Al Midani, Hussein Jowaid, Ahmed Al Ahmed, Osama Omri, Ahmed Al Ashqar, Mahmoud Al Mawas, Shadi Al Hamwi and Omar Al Soma.
