MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russian boxer Artur Petterbiyev overcame Ukrainian rival Alexander Gvozdeck with a knockout blow in their fight in the United States today.
Russia's website reported today that the fight was strong and exciting among the boxers before Petterbiyev decided in his favor in the tenth round knockout knock, thus snatching the world champion belt according to the classification of the World Boxing Council in the category of heavyweight.
The 34-year-old has won 15 wins in his professional career without any loss so far.
