Augsburg began to flee forward, pressed early and earned two corners before Robert Lewandowski met with the first real chance for Bayern to equalize (14). The dynamics of the game hardly shook: The Augsburg aggressively plunged into the duels, the Bayern got weak knees. Forwards, the Munich relied too much on their individual class - and almost successful, a volley Serge Gnabrys clapped at least on the post (39).

Two Koubeks: Tomás Koubek was already considered a transfer flop before the match against Bayern. In the first half it became clear why: Augsburg's goalkeeper repeatedly deflected crossings unhappily forward, was even lucky that Tin Jedvaj ironed out a slapstick insert and scratched a shot by Thiago from the line (40th). In the second half, Stade Rennes' entry made an overwhelming save and kept his side against Coutinho and Coman in the match.
Müllert it ?: Thomas Müller last quarreled with his reserve role at Bayern. After the match in Augsburg should have changed little: Only after 80 minutes was the ex-national player for Coutinho on the court, Müller's only scene was a missed shot from promising position (90th).
