Scene of the match: From a dramaturgical point of view, the match would not have been much better for the Augsburger, and the Bundesliga is - and this is no empty phrase - exciting as never before. Two Joker are the reason: Sergio Córdova fueled up before the Augsburg equalizer against Lucas Hernández, Alfred Finnbogason completed in the middle. The Bayern defensive, barely tested after the break, was just too sleepy - and had to accept the goal in injury time.

Result: 2: 2 (1: 1). Read the game report here.

First half: In the first minute Marco Richter scored the 1: 0. Anyone who had expected a counter-offensive Bayern then was disappointed. Augsburg began to flee forward, pressed early and earned two corners before Robert Lewandowski met with the first real chance for Bayern to equalize (14). The dynamics of the game hardly shook: The Augsburg aggressively plunged into the duels, the Bayern got weak knees. Forwards, the Munich relied too much on their individual class - and almost successful, a volley Serge Gnabrys clapped at least on the post (39).

Richters Blitzstart : 27 seconds needed the game for their first climax. A throw extended Marco Richter by arc lamp to Rani Khedira. Augsburg's captain plays the ball back head - and Richter poked the ball past Manuel Neuer into the net. For Richter, who had already shone in the U21 European Championship this summer, it was the second goal of the season, for Augsburg an early sign that a point win is possible. And for Bayern actually the urgent recommendation to reduce the microsleep to a minimum.

Kaputter Coloss: Niklas Süle had completed 630 of 630 possible Bundesliga minutes before the eighth matchday. Only 11 minutes went to Augsburg for Bayern's center-back: Süle had injured his knee in a duel with Florian Niederlechner and had to clear the field early for David Alaba, who then exchanged positions with substitute left-back Benjamin Pavard. Süle now threatens a long break: Coach Niko Kovac reported after the game of suspicion of a cruciate ligament injury to the defender.

Second half: Speaking of individual class, apropos Gnabry: The national striker rang the second round with a hit like from an Arjen Robben highlight video. From the right Gnabry moved in, past Philipp Max, past Reece Oxford, and closed with the left foot to the Munich lead (49.). In any case, the Bayern brought their winger now better in the game, Philippe Coutinho (52) and Kingsley Coman (79th) awarded each from close range the preliminary decision. 90 minutes after the first Augsburg goal Finnbogason scored the overall happy equalizer (90. + 1).

Two Koubeks: Tomás Koubek was already considered a transfer flop before the match against Bayern. In the first half it became clear why: Augsburg's goalkeeper repeatedly deflected crossings unhappily forward, was even lucky that Tin Jedvaj ironed out a slapstick insert and scratched a shot by Thiago from the line (40th). In the second half, Stade Rennes' entry made an overwhelming save and kept his side against Coutinho and Coman in the match.

Müllert it ?: Thomas Müller last quarreled with his reserve role at Bayern. After the match in Augsburg should have changed little: Only after 80 minutes was the ex-national player for Coutinho on the court, Müller's only scene was a missed shot from promising position (90th).
