Borussia Mönchengladbach's series is torn. After last four wins in a row lost the league leaders of the Bundesliga at Borussia Dortmund 0: 1 (0: 0). The only goal of the match was scored by Marco Reus (58th minute).
With the win Dortmund is now with 15 points in fourth place, tied with Bayern Munich a rank above it, which conceded a late equalizer in the afternoon in Augsburg. The Gladbacher (16 points) are still leaders, but tomorrow Schalke 04 in Hoffenheim (18 clock, live ticker SPIEGEL, TV Sky) can pass with a win.
In the first round, the two goalkeepers were the most noticeable players. After a ball win the Dortmund followed a quick combination of Reus and Julian Brandt, who pulled off with a left from an acute angle. Gladbach keeper Yann Sommer parried the shot.
On the other hand, Roman Bürki saved BVB twice within three minutes. At first he showed a superb save from a short distance from a header from Stefan Lainer (26 '). Shortly afterwards he won a duel with Breel Embolo, who headed for the goal after a high pass. The Swiss wanted to play around Bürki, but this spiked him without the ball of the foot, without fouling (29).

The next scene had summer again: After a corner of the Dortmund Mats Hummels came to the head and summer steered the ball just over the bar (32). A few minutes after the restart Brandt came to a conclusion after a rebound in the penalty area, but shot the ball meters wide (51). Finally, the captain of the hosts made the winning goal. Axel Witsel pulled Hazards guard on himself, so that the Belgian could be played and passed the ball directly to Reus. The tunnelled summer and scored his fifth goal of the season (58.). Brandt's supposed goal to make it 2-0 in the 85th minute did not count, as Reus had blocked the view in offside summer.
Shortly before the end of the game a low cross from Gladbacher slipped through to the second post, where Neuhaus brought the ball in goal on the gate. Marwin Hitz, who had come in for the injured Bürki, deflected the attempt from two meters with his foot (89.).
