Juventus, who have maintained their unbeaten league record under Maurizio Sarri's side, went into the game after winning the last seven games in all competitions to stay top with 23 points.
It was the second time the defending champions had failed to win the league's three points this season after a goalless draw at Fiorentina last September, while Lecce scored their first points at home this season.
