ROME (Reuters) - AS Roma overcame AC Milan 2-0 in their first match at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday to move up to fifth in Serie A.
Roma's Eden Geco put the hosts ahead in the first half before Teo Hernandez leveled for Milan at the start of the second half and Nicolo Zagnolo scored the winner after 59 minutes and pushed Roma to overtake.
Cagliari moved up to fifth with 16 points, one point behind fourth-placed Napoli, the last qualifying place for the Champions League, while Milan are 12th with 10 points after winning just one of their last six games.
