Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is in no hurry to extend the contract of captain Sergio Ramos, according to Spanish daily ABC.
The newspaper pointed out that Ramos wants to extend his contract with the club, so he presses the management of the club for a salary increase of 2 million euros, or 14 million euros per season, which does not resonate positively with the president of the club.
The 34-year-old has a contract with Real Madrid until the summer of 2021.
The newspaper said that the failure to renew the management of the club Ramos contract may push the latter to pack his bags, and leave the team at the end of the season.
Press reports earlier indicated that Ramos had a huge offer from a Chinese club.
