2019-11-01T21:07:45.782Z

A 117-kilogram colossus had fallen into the hands of Stephen Curry. For the NBA superstar this means a downtime of at least three months, then wants to give his club an update.

Basketball superstar Stephen Curry will miss the Golden State Warriors for at least three months due to his broken hands. That tweeted the NBA club. The 31-year-old had injured in the night from Wednesday to Thursday in the 110:12 defeat against the Phoenix Suns and was already operated on Friday.

This curry falls out for a large part of the regular season. Until April 15, the regular season will be played in the North American league, before the playoffs start on April 18th. When the 31-year-old should be ready for use again, is not known. After the three months, there will be an update from the club, it said.

Against the Suns, the 31-year-old collided with Suns Center Aron Baynes in a basketball attempt. During the subsequent fall on the floor landed the 2.08-meter and 117-pound Baynes on Curry's left hand. Curry continued to play, but had to leave the floor after a few minutes. For the Warriors, the failure of the point-and-shooter is a heavy setback.

The 2017 and 2018 championship title contenders were also ahead of the new season, but were more vulnerable to the departure of Kevin Durant and the severe injury of Klay Thompson than in previous years. The finals of last season had already lost Golden State against the Toronto Raptors.

In the new era in San Francisco, in which the initially resident in Oakland Warriors moved, the franchise started anyway bad. In the first four games succeeded only one victory. That's why the failure of Curry weigh even more than already.
