The mood could not be better. Because after the cup victory in Freiburg Union is the only team that has defeated Christian Streich's team twice. Okay, Union is also the only team that has played against them twice already. But it is a good story.

It is not euphoric on Schalke, but still: It works. Schalke overwinters in the cup, plays good football and is dazzling in the league. But as with a new technical product, the teething problems still need to get out. This is being worked on and the game in Augsburg will show how far progress is.
