Ajax Amsterdam coach Eric Ten Haag has said he will stay at the club until the end of the season despite his name linked to Bayern Munich.
"I can confirm my strong connection with my team and everybody at Ajax, I will stay at the club this season," he told reporters before the Champions League match against Ajax and Chelsea.
"Bayern are a great club and still in my heart but I am in Ajax now," he said.
Bayern Munich were sacked by coach Nico Kovac on Thursday after a humiliating 5-1 defeat at Eintracht Frankfurt in the league, and Ten Haag's name was strongly echoed by his succession.
The coach signed a new contract with Ajax during the summer transfer window, which ends in June 2022 after leading the team to win the domestic double last season as well as reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League.
He has previously coached Bayern Munich's second team between 2013 and 2015.
Bayern are fourth in the Bundesliga, four points behind leaders Borussia Moenchengladbach, while Ajax are unbeaten six points behind Alkmaar.
In the Champions League, Ajax are second in Group H, level on points with leaders Chelsea, each with six points from three games.
