Borussia Dortmund has retaliated in the Champions League at Inter Milan for the 2-0 defeat in the first leg. BVB turned in the second leg a 0-2 back-to-break in a 3-2 victory. Match winner of the BVB was full-back Achraf Hakimi, who scored two goals. After Lautaro Martínez Inter had taken the lead in the first leg (5.) and Matías Vecino had increased to 2-0 (40.), BVB struck back in the second half. Hakimi made the connection (51.), Julian Brandt the equalizer (64.) and the towering Hakimi finally also the winner (77).
In Group F, BVB are now second with seven points behind FC Barcelona (8 points) and ahead of Inter (4) and Sparta Prague (2). In the remaining two games of BVB in Barcelona and at home against Prague make it perfect in the second round.
Inter started with a lot of pressure on the Dortmund construction game. This was immediately apparent in the first minute with a yellow card for Cristiano Biraghi, who had fouled Hakimi. Shortly thereafter, Inter took his first chance. Manuel Akanji stumbled in a duel with Lautaro Martínez after a Milano Liberation strike in the Dortmund half. The striker then ran away with the ball on foot Mat Hummels, moved into the box and hit the lead (5 minutes). Already in the first leg he had scored the 1-0 for his team.
Dortmund comes to opportunities
The BVB took fifteen minutes before he came to his first opportunity. This paid off just seconds later: Dortmund won the ball in a throw-Inter at the Milan penalty area, Alcácer sent Brandt in the penalty area and met from an acute angle to equalize (64.).
The BVB pressed on and was not satisfied with the draw. Hakimi looked for a double pass with Sancho. He put the ball into the box and Hakimi scored the decisive 3: 2 (77.)
