Dynamo's only goal was scored by Sebastian Chimanski in the 23rd minute.
Both teams completed the game with 10 men after Alexander Zweif was sent off from Robben in the 45th minute and Ivan Ordets from Dynamo in the 66th minute.
Dynamo lifted them to 18 points in 11th place, while Rubin had 17 points in 13th place on the Russian Premier League table.
