Bayern has won the top match against Borussia Dortmund. Thanks to goals from Robert Lewandowski and Serge Gnabry, Bayern won 4-0 (1-0) against BVB, while Mats Hummels added another own goal to the final. The Dortmund had their first chance to score only in the second half and were clearly inferior to Bayern.
Hansi Flick, who is in charge of the FCB team following the break-up of Niko Kovac, confided in the starting line-up that started in the 2-0 win over Piraeus in the Champions League this week. The BVB had to forego again at the beginning of captain Marco Reus, who initially took only on the bench.
Bayern's attack seemed already defused, but defender Benjamin Pavard brought the ball in again in the middle, where Robert Lewandowski could behead unimpeded from three yards away - 1 : 0th
Gnabry hit counts only after the video evidence
With his goal, the Polish international has set a 51-year-old record by Gerd Müller from the 1968/1969 season. 15 goals have been scored after eleven matchdays so far only the former Bayern attacker. Lewandowski's colleagues seemed to encourage the hit.
BVB goalkeeper Roman Bürki saved Dortmund from a second-half strike by Serge Gnabry (27 '), but a second attempt by the national team brought the ball to the net, but Gnabry had previously been offside.
The second half did not go two minutes, as Gnabry was again in the spotlight: He had scored after a counterattack Bayern again in goal - and again the hit should not count. But an alleged offside decision turned out to be wrong after checking the video umpire. The hit counted.
Reus and Alcácer come into the game
Gnabry was in the lead 51 minutes into the game, but after a cross from Kingsley Coman, he just missed the ball. (51.). Lewandowski had a big chance a few minutes later (59.), but also shot past eleven meters.
Favre responded and brought after an hour Reus and Paco Alcácer in the game. Nine minutes later, the Spanish attacker had the first Dortmund goal opportunity of the game. After a cross from Achraf Hakimi, however, the Spaniard did not get the ball right.
Should it be exciting again? No. Because after Coman and Thomas Muller still missed out, it made Lewandowski better. With his second goal of the evening, he made the decision. He also broke the Müller record. BVB defender Hummels then scored after a cross from Ivan Perisic to the final score in his own goal.
