Russia won the 2019 Sambo World Championship, hosted by South Korea's Cheongju, which ended on Saturday.
Russia finished third in the 2019 world championships with 20 golds, one silver and four bronzes, while Mongolia finished second with two golds, one silver and eight bronzes, while Ukraine came in third with two golds and four bronzes.
The next World Sambo Championship will be held in the Turkmen capital Ashgabat in November 2020.
