In the Bundesliga match between SC Freiburg and Eintracht Frankfurt it has come to a scandal. In stoppage time of the encounter, there were riots in front of the Freiburg substitute bench after Frankfurt captain David Abraham Freiburg coach Christian Streich checked away.

Streich then fell to the ground, some substitutes of the Freiburg ran to Abraham. After the formation of the pack, to which also some Frankfurters joined, referee Felix Brych first showed Abraham Rot (90 + 6) and then also Freiburg's substituted player Vincenzo Grifo (90 + 10) the red card for an assault.

"He can not do that, he felt provoked," said Frankfurt sporting director Fredi Bobic in the "Sky" interview. Further inquiries into the reason for the escalation were dismissed by Bobic: "That does not interest you," he told the "Sky" reporter. Bobic continues on Abraham: "He's emotional, but that should not happen to him, as we told him."

The confrontation occurred at the score of 1: 0 for Freiburg. To make the game fast in a throw-in to Frankfurt, Abraham brought the ball out of the side, just in front of the Freiburg substitute bench. He met Streich, who previously ran the ball in the run. After Brych had distributed the red cards, he finished the game.

The victory puts Freiburg on fourth place in the table. Frankfurt falls back to ninth place. Nils Petersen had scored the decisive goal (77.), after Frankfurt's Gelson Fernandes was sent off in the first half with yellow-red (45. + 1).
