2019-11-11T21:37:58.268Z

Draw - that was clear: The Karlsruher SC builds in the second league from his series and thus bequeathed Erzgebirge Aue the leap into the top flight. The guests played more than a half in the process.

Erzgebirge Aue missed a big step towards the top teams in the second Bundesliga. The team coached by Dirk Schuster did not get past a 1-1 (1-0) at Karlsruher SC on Monday and remains three points behind VfB Stuttgart and relegation rank three. The KSC, however, comes through his seventh tie in a row on the spot.

Schuster, who had played for Karlsruhe between 1991 and 1997, did not make it with his eleven on return, the blunders of the Stuttgart and Hamburger SV to use. For Aue it was the third game in a row without a win.

In the new edition of the second division relegation of 2018 brought Jan Hochscheidt (7) Aue early on course. Anton Fink equalized (64 '). Shortly before the break Hochscheidt had seen a red card after a kick against Karlsruher Marco Thiede (41) - referee Sven Waschitzki (Essen) had initially shown yellow, decided after the video evidence but the dismissal.

Outnumbered defended Aue, which had the better options in the first round, to their best. The Karlsruher, who last won in mid-September against SV Sandhausen, presented themselves after the break, although superior, but left several opportunities. At the best opportunity Marvin Wanitzek hit the post (50th).

KSC striker Marvin Pourie also failed in the closing stages to Martin Männel (78). Referee Waschitzki also took a penalty kick for Karlsruhe in the view of the pictures back (82).
