Hungary has officially opened one of the biggest stadiums in Europe and named it Hungarian football legend Puskas.
The stadium is the second tallest building in Budapest with a height of 52 meters and was formerly known as the “People's Stadium”, which was built in 1953 but was completely demolished in March 2016 to begin reconstruction work.
The new stadium has a capacity of 68,000 football fans while it can accommodate 80,000 concert goers.
The cost of building in 2011 was estimated at 112 million euros, but this figure rose to nearly 610 million euros, making it one of the most expensive stadiums in Europe.
