LONDON (Reuters) - UEFA imposed a 15,000-euro fine on Celtic for banned banners and hostile cheers during a win over Lazio in the Europa League last month.
The UEFA Disciplinary and Values Commission has fined the Scottish team for Celtic supporters raising hostile and non-sporting banners against the Italian team and their fans in the 2-1 win.
The regulations prohibit the UEFA "provocative messages of a political nature, ideological, religious or carrying a hostile nature."
