Actually, the path of Jaden Agassi should have been predetermined. But against all expectations, the son of Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi has now apparently finally decided against a tennis career. His passion is baseball. The 18-year-old has signed a contract with the University of Southern California (USC) to prepare for a professional career there.
"This kid has been with us since he was eight years old, a great family and a special boy, and I wish Jaden to sign the contract," his former team wrote on Twitter.
The University of Southern California is one of the most prestigious universities in the world and is based in Los Angeles. A flagship of the college is also the baseball college team: The USC Trojans are with twelve championships by far the most successful team in the existing since 1947 College World Series. The last title, however, is already 21 years back. With Agassi from the coming year on old successes should be attached.
