RB Leipzig has reached the first knockout round of the Champions League for the first time in its history. The Bundesliga side played 2: 2 (0: 1) against Benfica Lisbon and is thus in Group G no longer displace one of the first places. Benfica made it 2-0 thanks to goals from Pizzi (20th minute) and Carlos Vinicius (64.), but Leipzig equalized in the closing stages with two goals from Emil Forsberg (89th, penalty, 90th + 6th).
