Germany definitely plays against France and Portugal at the European Championships next year. This resulted in the draw in the Romexpo exhibition hall in Bucharest. The third opponent of the Germans in Group F, however, is not yet determined because of the controversial qualification mode.
Four grid positions for the European Championship are still to be awarded, the European Championship drivers will be determined in the playoffs of the 2018 started Nations League. A possible German opponent could be Hungary, should the team prevail in its qualification path. In total, seven teams are eligible.
The European Championship celebrates its 60th Anniversary, to celebrate the finals will be distributed across the continent. Venues are: Amsterdam, Baku, Bilbao, Budapest, Bucharest, Dublin, Glasgow, Copenhagen, London, Munich, Rome and Saint Petersburg. Germany plays its three preliminary matches in Munich.
It starts on 12 June 2020 with the opening match in Rome. Italy then meets an opponent still to be lured. The preliminary round ends on 24 June, the knockout stage begins on 27 June. The two semi-finals (July 7th and 8th) and the final (July 12th) will be played in London's Wembley Stadium.
