MADRID (Reuters) - Real Madrid star Eden Hazard is likely to miss the Spanish league clash with Barcelona, Spanish media reported on Wednesday.
"After testing by Hazard from the medical staff, the player was diagnosed with an incomplete external fracture of his right foot," Real Madrid said in a statement on its official website.
In the same context, the Spanish newspaper Marca pointed out that this diagnosis confirmed the absence of the Belgian player to face the Clasico scheduled on the 18th of this month because this type of injury needs between 4 and 6 weeks for treatment.
Hazard was injured in the Champions League clash with Paris St Germain and appeared to lean on the crutch on Sunday at a party.
