Only four matches were held in the best league in the world this morning, with the Rockets defeating Toronto, Philly surrendering outside, Devin Booker hot, and as usual the Knicks failed to pose as a worthy opponent.
Washington, DC - Philadelphia 113: 119
There were 21 turnovers for Philly in this game, 15 of them by Joel Embiid, and Ben Simmons, the two of whom should be primarily responsible for the team's offensive output. This scattered game cost them the loss of a four-game winning streak and positive momentum. Bradley Bill providing a great season as far as numbers went, with 26 and 10 rebounds, and a wonderful Roy Huchimura added 27 and 7. Philly led Scores Tobias Harris with 26.
Toronto - Houston 119: 109
James Harden threw for only 11 shots and finished "only" with 23 points, which didn't really stop the Rockets from getting a not-too-easy Toronto victory, and third in the last four games. Ben McLemore, who almost forgot about consciousness, reminded everyone that he was here with 28 points off the bench and Russell Westbrook reached the triple double of 19, 13 rebounds and 11 assists. When you add 18 and 11 of FJ Tucker and 16 more of Daniel House, then the Rockets' road to victory seemed paved.
24 pts and 9 rebounds were received by the late Pascal Siakam, who failed to prevent a second home loss in a row.

New Orleans - Phoenix 139: 132 (extended)
44 terrific Devin Booker had a night tonight, 21 of which were achieved in the third quarter after a mediocre first half, but from the moment the star reset intentions he made sure to keep the Suns in the game until the last minute and also get the win. Brandon Ingram, the Flickens star could have prevented the extension but missed the last shot, and in the extra five minutes Ricky Rubio made sure to close with 15 assists (in the entire game).
New York - Denver 129: 92
A world as is customary and the Knicks lose again at MSG. Denver has lost twice before, but there is no place as good as the Big Apple to get back on track. Eight Nuggets scored in double digits and none went past the 30 minutes on hardwood and the result: Will Barton leading the lead with just 17. Yukich was so calm that he settled for 6 points.
