She has won 30 tournaments and has been at the top of the world rankings for 71 weeks. After the Australia Open in January, tennis star Caroline Wozniacki ends her career.

Former tennis world number one Caroline Wozniacki has announced her resignation. The 29-year-old Dane wants to end her pro career after the Australian Open in January, which she won in 2018. "I've been playing tennis professionally since I was 15," Wozniacki wrote on Instagram. "During this time I have had a fantastic first chapter in my life."

"I've won 30 WTA titles, been number one in the world for 71 weeks and competed in three Olympic Games," she wrote. "I've always said that if there's something outside the court I'd rather do, I'll do it."

In June, she married former NBA basketball player David Lee. The resignation has no health reasons and is not a goodbye. She is now looking forward to sharing her journey with her fans.
