Iran has reserved two cards to qualify for the Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020, through the Taekwondo Grand Prix competitions held in Moscow.
The Fars News Agency reported that the Iranian player, Armin Hadi Poor, qualified for the Olympics after winning the bronze medal in a match under 58 kg by defeating Russian Georgi Popov, while Mir Hashem Hosseini obtained the second qualification card after reaching the positioning match.
It is noteworthy that Iran participated in the Grand Prix competition with four players.
