Borussia Mönchengladbach - Bayern Munich 2: 1 (0: 1)
Gladbach is the out-of-the-box opponent of the record champions: FC Bayern lost at Borussia Mönchengladbach more often than at any other Bundesliga club. Again, the Munich remained without success at VfL, who fought back late into the game.
The Munich started dominantly: Thomas Müller (8th minute, 26th) and Robert Lewandowski (14th and 16th) narrowly missed. The visitors pressed, the champions defended their lead - and were lucky: Gladbach's goalkeeper Yann Sommer sent a shot from Joshua Kimmich in the 27th minute, but could then stop the ball completely with one finger before crossing the goal line. BVB remain unbeaten in the ninth home game in a row against Fortuna and has expanded another impressive series: For the 32nd time in a row, the Dortmund have scored in a home game scored a goal.
