After the failure of contacts with Greek Elias Zoros and the fall of several other foreign candidates, the veteran coach (63) may soon be appointed as Sharon Drucker's replacement
Shivak. Will he stand on the lines of the Cascade Hall?

Eric Shivak is the leading candidate to be Hapoel Holon's next coach in place of Sharon Drucker. It is estimated that the decision will be made in the coming days.
Holon was very interested in Ilias Zoros, but the Greek coach demanded to come with his assistant and owner Shlomo Isaacs refused to approve the high budget cost. The club looked at options with some other foreign coaches, but apparently decided to move to the Israeli coaches market.
The 63-year-old Shivak worked last season at the Bnei Herzliya, but failed to save her from a league drop. His rich résumés include the Israeli national team, the Israeli championship with Maccabi Rishon Lezion, titles in Belgium and the Netherlands and arrival with the reserve team for second place in the 2004 European Championship.
