In recent days, the Israeli police have announced to Hapoel Tel Aviv's management that it requires the addition of 15 police officers in the upcoming derby game to be held on Saturday against Maccabi Tel Aviv, compared to the derby games last season, which will put the number of police officers at 80 plus 92 security guards.

This morning (Tuesday), Hapoel Tel Aviv announced to the police that it did not intend to pay the policing and security fees beyond the price it had already paid last season.

"From the beginning of the season, fans who were not involved in any violent event were involved and there is no justification for this demand," the group statement said.
