Atletico Madrid, Spain, reached the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League for the sixth time in six years after defeating Russia's Lokomotiv Moscow 2-0.
Joao Felix, owner of the most expensive transfer in the history of the team, executed a penalty kick to put coach Diego Simeone in the lead in the 17th minute, then Brazilian defender Felipe added the second goal in the 54th minute of the match.
Atletico raised their score to ten points in second place in Group Four, behind the 16-point Juventus who beat hosts Bayer Leverkusen 2-0.
