The Syrian youth soccer team starts the West Asian Championship by meeting its Jordanian counterpart today at 6:00 pm at the Polo Stadium in the Jordanian capital, Amman.

The championship competitions will continue until the sixteenth of this month, with the participation of four teams, Palestine, Lebanon and Syria, as well as the team of the host country, Jordan. Our team will meet its Palestinian counterpart next Saturday at three in the afternoon and Lebanon on Monday at the same time. Competitions will be played in the league system from one stage and achieve the title The team with the most points during the three rounds.

In a statement to SANA, the coach of the national team, Salim Jablawi, explained that the tournament is a "complementary stage" in building the team and its repercussions on the future will be good because that will allow the players to enter in a competitive atmosphere with players of "a higher level than them" in other teams and will also positively affect the league in Syria .
