Chris Smith, brother of NBC player JR Smith, joins Hapoel Jerusalem.

Smith (32, 1.88m) who holds Israeli citizenship after being converted and previously played in Hapoel Upper Galilee, Urban Nahariya and Maccabi Kiryat Motzkin, will join Oded Ketch training, also due to Trent Lockett's absence in the United States for personal reasons.

Smith does not appear to be signing a contract on the team from the capital later this season, but the possibility of a move as an option should not be ruled out.
