Paying off to referees from last season only in November, judging games from the beginning of the season without receiving any actual wages and full-time union employees who have not received their salary in the past month. This emerges from complaints that are first revealed in "Israel Today".

Handball judges say, among other things, that the wages for work in June that they were supposed to receive in July were only actually received on November 21. This is after April, all referees were asked to waive one game fee due to financial difficulties of the Handball Association, and also failed to meet many other commitments. They include, for example, a statement received during the summer recess that "the union's management has approved opening a separate account for judges. The money that is supposed to go to a judgment fee will go to a separate account." A judge notes to "Israel Today" that "we have not been paid for work we have done since then nor for travel."

While the Handball Association has occasionally delayed paying salaries to referees from time to time, it is impossible to remember when the referees were forced to open a season without closing a previous sub-debt. And this year, the referees had to open the season without closing the bill against them the previous season.

In the past month, there has also been an aggravation under which other union workers, where administrative and professional staff have not been paid. The judges also point to another problem: At the time of the Jury's management, there is, at present, only Chairman Lior Ben Harush who will take office on August 27. "Something is wrong with the union," said one of the judges.

"We are doing things with love," another judge told Israel Today. "The situation is not pleasant for us. We are not being paid on time. We promised that we would receive the September salary in the coming month. In the previous two years there was a big improvement and then suddenly it stopped." He said, "We agreed to live with delays but there is a difference between delay and about six months."

"We are not threatening even though judgment sometimes affects us days and hours," one of the judges noted. "Our concern is that if we complain then we will be caught as gluttons." He also points to late payrolls as a major reason for the shortage of judges. "Until new judges arrive," the judge said, "those new ones see that they do not receive a salary for two or three months and retire soon."

"The previous strike led to a rift between us"

Another judge tried to explain why the judges, who agree on the severity of the situation, do not break the tools. "The previous strike we took led to a rift between us," one of the judges told "Israel Today," "Obviously if we sit down then there will be quick strike vouchers." Despite this, the fury of the judges is uniform.

"I wondered why we weren't making a move," another judge said. "The situation is catastrophic. The Handball Association has invented something new - getting money on a current plus 120." Regarding the possibility of a strike, he said, "The colleagues give it a 'barks' because of the strike-breaking trauma last time. There is no unity between us - the only thing that unites us is wages. We are not used to receiving the salary on time for years. They might have made the job of judging a primary rather than a secondary job. Bottom line, union officials are taking care of themselves so they get their salaries a month. "

The problems, in the opinion of that judge, are much broader. "The conduct at the top of the union is unworthy, Tal Lavi who came to the chair wanted to act differently and did not let him arrange things," the judge concluded. "As a judge, I have to invest 40 shekels in a specific whistle that makes the specific noise that suits the lots. This year we did not receive clothing for the game, but we are judging with uniforms we already used last season. We received winter clothes for the last time four years ago, a case for the judge to put the equipment we did not receive six years. The problem really didn't start this year - it's wider and longer. "

Response from the Handball Union: "The union feeds most of its budgets from subsidies that today come from other unions, mainly from the state, namely the Ministry of Sports. .
