Maccabi Tel Aviv midfielder Ohrosh Nikolich came to the team last year as a big promise, but in the meantime he recorded only 17 minutes of play and could very well not play another season.
The Serbian, who has been missing from the fields lately due to his knee inflammation, was tested in Spain by Dr. Ramon Gokat, who previously analyzed Israeli players such as Maor Buzaglo and Barak Yitzhaki, and his recommendation to Nikolich was to undergo surgery in the near future. Due to the previous surgery the player had a groin tendon.
The yellows sent Nikolich to get the opinion of other experts and it seems unimaginable that the player will undergo surgery, but Maccabi has yet to make a formal decision on the matter. If Nikolich undergoes surgery he will actually end the season and in such a situation it is unlikely that the champion will decide to freeze it.
