Did Edinson Cabani conclude at Atletico Madrid for the next three seasons? At least according to Sky Sports report Monday morning, the 32-year-old striker, who is ending his contract in Paris Saint-Germain this summer and heads to negotiate with any team he wants, has already closed his terms in Diego Simeone's squad.
If the move does come to fruition, and it may already happen in the upcoming January transfer window, Cabani will head to Colchonros on the injured Diego Costa's slot. Either way, if the move only happens at the end of the current season, the Uruguayan striker will join in with a significantly reduced transfer amount, he reports.
It's no secret that Cabany, who played just 456 minutes this season in all frames, is unhappy with his standing in the French team of Thomas Tuchel. The German coach has allowed the striker in question to open the lineup only three times this season, and perhaps because of this new contract from the French champion, seems out of sight. Either way, expect fast-paced developments.
