The Christmas cycle kicked off tonight (Wednesday) with Boston's not-so-difficult Boston 102: 118 victory over the champion. The Celtics achieved a fourth consecutive win at the expense of the host, who turns out the holiday season has not done so well for her (second consecutive loss).
The Celtics, who led the half by 18 points, and in fact closed interest already in the third quarter, got a great game from Jaylen Brown who sparked 30 points (3-for-3). Kamba Walker added 22 points, Gordon Hayward assisted with 14 points of his own. On the other side, in the losing line, dropping to sixth place in the East, Fred VanValit stood out with 27 points, Chris Butcher assisted with 24 points of his own.
The Christmas Games will continue tonight with four more sessions: Philadelphia (10:22) - Milwaukee (4:27), Lakers (6:24) - LA. Clippers (10:22), Denver (8:21) - New Orleans (23: 8), Golden State (24: 7) - Houston (9:21).
