Maccabi Haifa continued its excellent weeks and achieved a sixth victory in the last nine games as they beat Nahariya City 78:84 and recovered from a negative balance for the first time this season (6: 6).
Three-quarters of Nahariya remained tight, but the Iron Ten defense for the last ten minutes, along with another impressive offensive display on the side of the league's James King, escorted Daniel Savannah to another victory on the road to cling to the top squad.
Nahariya for her part continues the instability that characterizes her this season. A week after the dramatic victory over Maccabi Rishon Lezion, which came thanks to a fine offensive display, the Purple again scored a particularly low percentage (3 from 24 outside the arc) and suffered an eighth loss in 13 cycles. One of the main reasons for the loss: only 18 points from Israelis. The worst news is: The opponent in the next round is Hapoel Jerusalem.
