Maccabi Tel Aviv took off to Lithuania on Wednesday against the foreign game against Jelgiris Kaunas in the 17th round of the Euroleague (Thursday, 20:00).
Head coach Janis Spropoulos said before boarding: "It's not easy to win on an off-field. We need to be more focused and fight every ball. Jalgiris has been on the rise lately, she has lost a lot of games and sure her players will fight. It won't be easy and we know that."
The Greek also referred to procurement players Arun Jackson and Jaylen Reynolds: "I'm glad they are with us. No magic and they are still learning the system and philosophy in defense and attack they are ready to play and they will play. We will continue to fight and do our best in this situation."
Scotty Wilbkin (ankle sprain) and Othello Hunter (twin muscle stretch), who were absent from the game against Hapoel Beer Sheva due to injuries, will be eligible for the game.
