The PSG players summoned the morning of this Thursday, January 2 for the resumption of training played the good students. They arrived before 9:30 am at Camp des Loges in Saint-Germain-en-Laye (Yvelines) to return to the field after 11 days of vacation. Paris Saint-Germain has only three days to prepare for the match against Linas-Montlhéry (Regional 1), Sunday evening (8:55 pm) in the 32nd final of the Coupe de France.
This first group was mainly composed of European players, even if Marquinhos, who spent the holidays in Paris, was also part of it. Kylian Mbappé was dropped off in a van as usual. Presnel Kimpembe, Abdou Diallo, Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting and Julian Draxler were also perfectly on schedule, under the eyes of sports director Leonardo.
Physical and medical tests on the program
We will have to wait until the second part of the day to find out if everyone is back, as the club has requested. The players present this Thursday morning must be joined in the early afternoon by a second wave, mainly composed of South American players.
Some of them traveled overnight, including Neymar and Thiago Silva. Idrissa Gueye, back from Senegal, is also expected this afternoon.
Physical and medical tests are notably on the program for this back-to-school day. PSG are the last Ligue 1 club to resume training, before a series of 14 games which will lead them to the knockout leg of the Champions League against Dortmund on February 18.
