Closure of the Auteuil grandstand: PSG wants to put its supporters outside

As for PSG-Amiens and PSG-Saint-Etienne, part of the Virage Auteuil will be closed this Sunday during PSG-Monaco (9 p.m.). As we announced on Sunday, the consolidation work that will be undertaken by the city of Paris must last until the end of January.

Against Amiens and Saint-Etienne, the Parisian club had found solutions to replace the 1,500 fans, approximately, who usually place themselves in this sector of the tribune. For the match against Monaco, due to lack of space, PSG will not be able to receive subscribers from these stands, as it informed them by email on Thursday. The meeting is in fact sold out and the club is counting on fewer absences than for previous meetings.

Travel to Monaco and Marseille excluded

The club's services have therefore innovated, by offering supporters two invitations for compensation, but for meetings outside this second half of the season, only in Ligue 1. Travel to Monaco is excluded, since Parisian supporters are sanctioned by the LFP on this occasion, following the overflows in Saint-Etienne. The remaining trips lead to Lille, Nantes, Amiens, Strasbourg, Angers, Reims, Toulouse and Nîmes. The most exciting trip of the season, to Marseille, is not on the list either, because it should be subject to a new prefectural or ministerial ban.

We "neutralize" my place for PSG / Monaco on Sunday for work at Auteuil and the compensation is ... two trips offered ??! You smoked @PSG_inside pic.twitter.com/Xpq7GweTwl

These options weren't enough to comfort some private fans of the Sunday game. "With two parking spaces at 10 euros, it's a good deal for PSG," quips a subscriber in the area. "Did you smoke?" Annoys Gary in a tweet to his heart club. No other home meeting is planned at the Parc des Princes before the end of the month, but an appointment could be added in the Coupe de France, if PSG qualifies in Lorient.
