Liverpool's score of 61 points is the highest after 21 games in the history of the Premier League, breaking the previous record of 59 points and Manchester City achieved two seasons ago.
But Tottenham did not succeed in leveling the result and Jose Mourinho's team fell to eighth with 30 points from 22 games after one victory in the last five league games.
