Liverpool superstar Jordan Henderson won the 2019 England Player of the Year award, beating Manchester City winger Rahim Sterling and Tottenham striker Harry Kane.
In a statement on its website, Liverpool club indicated that Henderson represented England in 7 games in 2019 and had reached 50 international matches during the three Lions victory over Montenegro last March.
He explained that Henderson, 29, helped his country qualify for the European Championship 2020, in addition to obtaining third place in the Nations League.
At club level, Henderson won 3 titles with Liverpool during 2019, culminating in the European Champions League, European Super Cup and Club World Cup.
