Exactly after nine consecutive wins, but still without the injured Anthony Davis, the Lakers suffered a surprising home loss after a Staples Center thriller. Merkel Fultz, who finished with a triple-double (21 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists) was the Magic's ex-factor with two important baskets in the closing seconds. Mania Wachiewicz added 19 to the victors, who even managed to surprise themselves. LeBron James, who scored an important three-pointer that returned the Lakers advantage (before Pulz reawakened), finished with a fine double of 19 points (7 from 19 from the field) and 19 assists. Kevin Cook added 22 points off the bench, Kyle Kuzma stank the hardwood with just 4 points.

Sacramento - Dallas 127: 123
The Mavericks again managed to get by without Kristaps Porzingis, who missed a ninth game in a row, but wonder boy Luca Donchic once again kept them in the game, this time with a delusional triple-double of 25 points, 15 rebounds and 17 assists. Dallas won it for the third time in a row despite the wonderful last quarter of the Kings, who ran with 7:30 p.m. Seth Kerry stood out from the bench with 21 points. D’Yaron Fox (27 points and 11 assists), provided a great game along with Buddy Boy and Harrison Barnes, who added 25 yards for the loser.
Houston - Portland 117: 107
The defamated ex Carmelo Anthony returned to Houston, and was a decisive factor in the Blazers ’foreign win. Carmelo provided sharpness with 18 points (7 from 10 from the field) and 12 rebounds and was a full partner for the second quarter where the Blazers won 21:32 - 12 minutes which actually made the big difference. The winner also received 25 points from Damien Lillard and 24 from CJ McCollum. Hasan Whiteside finished with a double-double of 18 points and 18 rebounds. On the other side, James Harden recorded one of his fall games, this time with 13 points on 3-of-12 from the field, plus 8 rebounds. Russell Westbrook finished with a triple-double (31 points, 12 assists, 11 rebounds).

The hit welcomed Kendrick Nunn, who scored 33 points, while Bam Adbio also provided another impressive night for his private record (14 points, 13 rebounds, 7 assists). Demar Drusen (30 points, 7 assists) and Patty Mills (21 points), though, kept the Spurs in the picture, but succumbed to Miami’s 5:20 run, which went up to the balance of 12:28.
