The Russian Andrei Karginov, the driver of the "Kamaz Master" team, won first place in the Dakar Rally 2020 race for the truck category that was held in Saudi Arabia.
Karginov, 43, won the truck category title after winning the last 12-stage, which has a distance of 167 km, in one hour, 28 minutes and 41 seconds.
With this victory, Karginov rose to the throne of the overall ranking of the rally, with a time of 46 hours, 33 minutes and 36 seconds, a difference of 42 minutes from his closest followers, compatriot Anton Shybalov, who settled in second place, while Belarusian Sergei Vyazovic finished third.
The Dakar title this year is the second for Kargenov after winning the title in 2014, which was held on the continent of South America.
