Hapoel Haifa continues its efforts to strengthen the group's staff. "Israel Today" has learned that the Reds are making an effort to bring back defender Shmuel Shaiman, who is currently playing in the Dutch league in Venlo. Contacts between the parties have already begun and if the financial conditions are also appropriate, the move may take effect.
The 32-year-old Shaiman was a significant part of the Haifa Cup season two years ago and even captured the decisive goal in the final against Beitar Jerusalem.
In addition to strengthening the defense, coach Haim Silves is also interested in the striker. Following the proposal submitted to MS Ashdod Jacob Sylvester, Haifa also approached Hapoel striker Hadera Lucio. The latter may leave her room in the transfer window as well as Sylvester and Ashdod. As far as Silves is concerned, the first to come with owner Yoav Katz is the one to sign.
Also in the procurement sector, the signing of Brake Ofek Fischler, who grew up at the club, is expected to close this weekend and is expected to return as another roster on the back of the long list of injured in the back, including Nisso Kapiloto, Gal Arel, Ben Vahaba, Liran Sardal and Eli Balilati.
